Ingredients

  • 2 packets (1 ounce each) Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix, divided
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1½ cups buttermilk
  • 1 package (20 ounces) fresh, chicken tenders
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

Combine 1 packet of salad dressing mix with sour cream; refrigerate. Combine 1 packet of dressing mix with buttermilk; refrigerate. Rinse chicken and thoroughly pat dry on paper towels. Combine chicken and buttermilk mixture together in a Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bag. Refrigerate 6–24 hours. Heat oil to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.

Coat chicken in flour mixture. Carefully, lower several pieces of chicken in the oil to cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat process until all the chicken is cooked. Use sour cream mixture as a sauce.
