Twist Like a Pretzel
Ring in International Yoga Day with these kid-friendly yoga poses, while enjoying a tasty after-school snack of zesty ranch pretzels.

Yoga for kids is a great way to encourage healthy exercise habits at a young age. It also helps relieve stress and promote self-confidence. Try these simple moves at home!
1) Introductory breathing: Sit comfortably on the floor and raise one hand with a fist. Inhale while counting to five, then exhale while counting to five. Switch arms, then repeat several times with each arm raised.
2) Tree pose: Standing on your left leg, lift your right foot to rest on the standing leg, above or below the knee. If you can balance, lift both hands and extend to the side.
3) Crescent moon pose: Standing tall, inhale and lift both hands over your head, pressing palms together at the top. Exhaling, lean to one side. Inhale, then return to the center so your arms are straight up. Repeat, leaning to the opposite side. Exhale and lower the arms to your sides.
4) Candle: Lie down on your back, then bring your hands to the small of your back to raise your legs in the air. Move your feet back and forth like a flickering candle flame.

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup canola oil
½ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 (1 ounce) packet Hidden Valley® Spicy Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
1 pound bag pretzel twists
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a very large bowl or plastic zipper bag, combine the oils, garlic powder, onion powder and Hidden Valley® Spicy Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix packet. Add in the bag of pretzels.
Cover the bowl with a tight-fitting lid or zip the plastic bag securely and shake well. All the pretzels should be well coated.
Line two cookie sheets with foil and spread half of the seasoned pretzels on each pan. Bake for about 5–7 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes. Place in a large bowl and serve.
