Steps(10)
- 1
Let the steak sit out for 30 minutes before cooking.

Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
- 3
Heat a stainless steel pan with olive or neutral oil.
- 4
Once the pan is very hot, add the steak.
- 5
Sear each side for 1–2 minutes until browned.
- 6
Depending on your preferred doneness, and transfer the steak to the oven at 350°F to finish cooking. Cook until the internal temperature of the steak reaches 145°F.

For the cream sauce: Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until steaming, then turn off the heat. Stir in the Hidden Valley® Ranch Creamy Jalapeño seasoning.
- 8
When the steak is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice against the grain.
- 9
Spoon some of the warm jalapeno sauce onto a plate, top with sliced steak, and enjoy!
- 10
Serve with cilantro lime rice or pan-seared peppers and onions for a complete meal.
